Annual Golf Tournament Drives Support for WPB Police Programs

Golfers and supporters came together for a memorable day at THE FUND for West Palm Beach Police’s Annual Golf Tournament, held Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach. Despite an unseasonably chilly and rainy South Florida morning, the course flowed with energy as participants embraced camaraderie, competition, and community spirit.

Sponsored by The Samson Family Foundation and chaired by THE FUND’s Board Chair, Al Adelson, the event brought together local leaders, community members, and friends of THE FUND, all united in support of the organization’s mission. The morning began with coffee and bagels, followed by a welcome from Adelson before players teed off for 9 holes of friendly play following a brief weather delay.

Congratulations to the tournament winners: Board Member Andrew Filauro, Mitch Theiss, Jack Berman, and Officer Christian Malta.

Following the tournament, guests enjoyed a catered lunch and had the opportunity to learn more about THE FUND’s work supporting the West Palm Beach Police Department through outreach programs, youth engagement, and community-building initiatives.

Proceeds from the event directly support programs that strengthen trust, enhance public safety, and build meaningful connections between law enforcement and the community they serve.
