Annual WPB Police Awards hosted by THE FUND

More than 350 guests gathered at the Kravis Center for the Annual West Palm Beach Police Awards, hosted by THE FUND for West Palm Beach Police and honoring distinguished service by police personnel in 2025. Officers, their families, dignitaries, and leading donor members came together to recognize outstanding contributions across the department and the impact of their work throughout the year.

THE FUND’s president, Bill Bone, served as event chair and Master of Ceremonies, guiding a program that included remarks and a State of the Agency from Chief of Police Tony Araujo. Award recipients were selected by the department’s Police Awards Selection Committee, chaired by Maj. Emily Wiggs, ensuring a thoughtful and comprehensive recognition of excellence within the West Palm Beach Police Department.

All police personnel were invited as guests of THE FUND. Principal underwriters included David and Sondra Mack, Florida Crystals and The Fanjul Family, and Christina and Benjamin Macfarland.

Robert Garvy, vice chair, presented The FUND Award to Sgt. Robert Heisser. David Brule presented the Citizen’s Choice Award to Sgt. Francisco Maldonado. Mayor Keith James presented the William M. Nealy Community Outreach Award to Det. Ramon Lopez. Ned Grace presented the Professional Staff of the Year Award to Aisha Eckroth, and Janice Savin Williams presented the Professional Supervisor of the Year Award to Suzette Dodd. Brittany Morrison presented the Officer of the Year Award to Brent Treu. Rob Frisbie presented the Investigator of the Year Award to Jason Cole and Jose Paniagua, and Benjamin Macfarland presented the Sworn Supervisor of the Year Award to Rich Smith.

Alexia Cox presented Lifesaving Medals to Brooke Allen, Robert Brady, Christopher Bryan, Jasen DeMartini, Anthony Downie, Ismael Flores, Austin Haberkorn, Ardis Jackson, Fritz Jacques, Jacquelyn Pace, Hector Perdigon, Jose Paniagua, Nicholas Ramirez, Romario Saunders, Moare Silva, and Brent Treu. The Anthony Testa Tactical Lifesaving Medals were presented to Jonathan Chappell and Eric Langill. Heather Luttier presented the Unit of Distinction Award to the Background Investigations Unit, and Bill Meyer presented the Fraternal Order of Police Award to Lt. Craig Davis.
