Members of THE FUND for West Palm Beach Police gathered at WPBPD Headquarters for Lunch with the Cops—a meaningful afternoon of connection and community.
Held during National Police Week, the event began with a powerful moment as THE FUND proudly presented the 2025 Cross Combat Awards to Officer Hayley Nine and Officer James Butler. These awards honored the officers’ extraordinary courage and heroism during a life-threatening encounter in the line of duty, reminding us of the daily risks our officers take to protect West Palm Beach and its residents.
Following the presentation, guests enjoyed a delicious catered lunch by Gourmet Galaxy shared with WPBPD officers, command staff, city officials, and fellow supporters. These informal gatherings offer more than just a meal—they foster meaningful conversations and help build lasting relationships between law enforcement and the community they serve.
