On April 2, supporting members of THE FUND gathered at the West Palm Beach Police Department headquarters for our monthly “Lunch with the Cops” event. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal catered by Mission BBQ while connecting with officers, city officials, and fellow members. These luncheons offer more than just a shared meal—they are an opportunity to listen, learn, and build strong relationships that support the safety and well-being of our community.
Prior to lunch, THE FUND recognized Suzette Dodd, WPBPD Telecommunication Manager, and her staff for their dedication and exceptional service in telecommunications in celebration of National Telecommunicators Week. In addition, THE FUND proudly presented Canine Badges to the police dogs who play a vital role in public safety. These highly trained K-9 units assist in detecting drugs and explosives, apprehending suspects, locating missing persons, and protecting fellow officers.
