THE FUND for West Palm Beach Police proudly hosted the 2nd Annual West Palm Beach Police Scholarship Awards Breakfast at Police Headquarters. This special event honors the academic achievements of the children of West Palm Beach Police officers, reinforcing THE FUND’s ongoing commitment to supporting the families of those who protect our community.
This year, 55 students were each awarded a $4,000 scholarship to pursue post-high school education, including college, university, and technical school programs. The ceremony was led by Board President Bill Bone, with an inspiring keynote delivered by Vice Chair of the Board Robert Garvy.
Thank you to Florida Power & Light for generously sponsoring the breakfast and helping make the morning memorable for our scholars and their families.
A special thank you also goes to our hardworking Scholarship Committee: Brittany Morrison (Chair), Rob Frisbie (Vice Chair), Bill Bone, Robert Garvy, Ann-Marie Taylor, Major Emily Wiggs, and Tom Zacharias.
Through this important program, THE FUND recognizes and rewards the hard work, dedication, and promise of the next generation—and shows appreciation for the incredible service of their parents in the West Palm Beach Police Department.
