THE FUND for West Palm Beach Police hosted its annual Season Opening Cocktail Reception on December 9 at The Bristol, bringing together Board Members, Leading Donors, and West Palm Beach Police Command Staff and members from the Community Engagement Team. The evening honored leading donors whose generosity helps strengthen public safety throughout the city.
Board Chair Al Adelson opened the evening by expressing appreciation to the donors and to Board President Bill Bone, whose leadership and commitment help drive THE FUND’s mission forward. Police Chief Tony Araujo thanked THE FUND for its support and provided an insightful update on the Police Department. Additional officers of THE FUND in attendance included Bob Garvy, Brittany Morrison, Ron Pertnoy, and Tyler Schapiro.
Guests enjoyed cocktails and gourmet hors d’oeuvres, including a Champagne-and-caviar station sponsored by Franny LaRue of Gourmet Galaxy. A special performance by Leeza Keegan, a student at Rosarian Academy and a member of Young Singers of the Palm Beaches, added a memorable touch to the evening.
The Season Opening Reception is one of several exclusive benefits for Supporting Members of THE FUND.
