Members and Officers Connect at Lunch with the Cops

Members of THE FUND for West Palm Beach Police gathered at the West Palm Beach City Hall Complex for the latest Lunch with the Cops, continuing a tradition of bringing supporters and law enforcement together in a meaningful, informative setting.

Prior to the lunch, THE FUND’s Board Meeting featured a special presentation by the West Palm Beach Police Department and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, highlighting a collaborative mental health initiative. The partnership focuses on providing support and resources for individuals in need of counseling, reflecting a proactive and compassionate approach to public safety. During the meeting, THE FUND also recognized West Palm Beach Police dispatchers in honor of National Public Safety Telecommunicator Week, presenting Telecommunicator Manager Suzette Dodd with 42 gift cards for the department’s communications team.

The conversation carried into the lunch, where members and officers connected and gained further insight into how local law enforcement addresses complex challenges with care and innovation.
Guests enjoyed a catered lunch by Nosh Catering & Events. Lunch with the Cops is complimentary for Supporting Members who contribute $1,000 or more annually and remains one of the many ways THE FUND fosters strong relationships between the police department and the community it serves.
