National Night Out Brings Community Together at Gaines Park

THE FUND was proud to sponsor National Night Out, hosted by the West Palm Beach Police Department on August 4 at Gaines Park Community Center. This annual nationwide event strengthens police-community partnerships and helps create safer, stronger, and more connected neighborhoods.

Families enjoyed an evening filled with music and dancing from Digital Vibez, sundaes and shakes from Mr. Softee, bounce houses, face painting, glitter tattoos, hula hoops, cornhole, games, and activities from a variety of community vendors.

The West Palm Beach Police Department gave attendees an inside look at the important work officers and professional staff perform each day through interactive demonstrations featuring the S.W.A.T. Team, Bomb Squad, Dispatch, drones, and more.

As families prepared for the new school year, 500 backpacks filled with school supplies were distributed to local elementary, middle, and high school students.

National Night Out was truly a special evening that brought residents, families, and members of the West Palm Beach Police Department together in a welcoming and positive setting. THE FUND is honored to support this meaningful tradition and thanks everyone who attended, participated, and helped make the event a success.
