Recently, The Fund held a BBQ on the steps of the Police Department to give donors and members an opportunity to interact with officers. All police department personnel were invited as guests of The Fund to enjoy the lunch which was catered by McCray’s Backyard Barbeque & Seafood. Mayor Keith James and most of the Board participated.
Special recognition was given to 9 members of the department who were retiring from service. Programs supported by The Fund include Cops & Scholars, Police Explorers, Scholarships, Run with the Cops, Shop with the Cop, and the Victims Assistance Fund. To join or support The Fund click here.
