Allan Adelson
Al Adelson, developer of The Bristol, has been a real estate developer for over fifty years. Being in real estate and seeing the inner workings of city government, he realizes the value of the police department in keeping the city a safe place to live and work. He started THE FUND for West Palm Beach Police in October 2021 and has put together a board of like minded business, political, and educational leaders. As Chair of THE FUND, Al knows that our city can only be as good and as strong as our police force and is very passionate about assisting the police department in every way possible.
Robert A. Garvy
Robert A. Garvy is Vice Chair of THE FUND for West Palm Beach Police. He is founder and Chairman Emeritus of Intech Investment Management, LLC, a mathematically-based global investment manager. At the time of his retirement from direct management responsibilities as CEO, Intech had over $50 Billion under management. Mr. Garvy’s philanthropic and community service spans 30 years.
He served as Board Chair of the University of Central Florida and chaired their Educational Programs Committee. In addition, Mr. Garvy served the University of Notre Dame on their business school advisory council. He is past Chair of Rosarian Academy and actively supports that school as well as Cardinal Newman High School. Mr. Garvy chairs a volunteer task force dedicated to homeless issues that works with private stakeholders and with State, Federal, and local government. Mr. Garvy is a Chief’s Council Member of THE FUND.
