THE FUND for the West Palm Beach Police has named Julia Murphy its new Executive Director, bringing nearly two decades of nonprofit leadership and fundraising experience to the organization.
Murphy most recently served as Chief Advancement Officer at Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County. In her new role, she will guide THE FUND’s strategic direction, operations, membership development, and fundraising alongside President BillBone and the Board of Directors.
A local resident raising two daughters with her husband, Murphy sees the appointment as an opportunity to invest in the community her family calls home. Her priorities include expanding membership, building lasting partnerships, and strengthening support for officers, their families, and community programs.
THE FUND’s members collectively contribute more than $1 million annually toward scholarships, emergency assistance, recruitment support, and initiatives that build trust between police and residents throughout the city.
